Is America headed for a recession?
When the Republicans and DeSantis put an end to any sexual instruction of kids below 4th grade, activists kicked into high gear in their attempts to discredit and block that legislation.
The CEO of a corporation famous for its (historically, anyway) family-friendly atmosphere explains that his company was actively trying to derail this anti-groomer legislation.
Chapek took a stronger stance against the bill Wednesday, telling shareholders that he called Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Wednesday morning to convey the company’s “disappointment and concern.” Chapek said if the legislation becomes law it “could be used to unfairly target gay, lesbian, non-binary and transgender kids and families.”
“The governor heard our concerns and agreed to meet with me and LGBTQ+ members of our senior team in Florida to discuss ways to address them,” Chapek said.
He added that the outcome in Florida was “not what many of us were hoping for, especially our LGBTQ+ employees.”
Chapek also went on to say that Disney tried working behind the scenes to denounce the bill.
“While we have been strong supporters of the community for decades, I understand that many are upset that we did not speak out against the bill,” Chapek said. “We were opposed to the bill from the outset, but we chose not to take a public position on it because we thought we could be more effective working behind the scenes engaging directly with lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.”The CEO added that the company was hopeful that “our longstanding relationships with those lawmakers would enable us to achieve a better outcome.” — CNN
We would like Chapek to defend his claim that simple respect for and protection of the innocence of younger children could be ‘used to unfairly target’ anyone. But, as an activist, he won’t… and probably couldn’t if he had to.
Some parents of young children have already reacted to Disney’s stance, cutting all ties with the corporation.

But the best response to Disney might be from Gov. DeSantis himself:

So, here’s what I can tell you. In the State of Florida, we are not going to allow them to inject transgenderism into kindergarten. [Loud audience cheering] First graders shouldn’t have woke gender ideology imposed in their curriculums. And that is what we’re standing for, because we’re standing for the kids and we’re standing for the parents. And I can tell you this, the chance that I am going to back down from my commitment to students and back down from my commitment to parents’ rights simply because of fraudulent media narratives or pressure from woke corporations. The chances of that are zero.
And when you have companies that have made a fortune off being family-friendly and catering to families and young kids, they should understand that parents of young kids do not want this injected into their kid’s kindergarten classroom. They do not want their first graders to go and be told that they can choose an opposite gender that is not appropriate for those kids.
So if you’re family-friendly, understand the parents, who are actually raising families, want to have their rights respected. And I also think that you have companies, like a Disney, that are going to say and criticize parents’ rights they’re going to criticize the fact that we don’t want transgenderism in kindergarten and first-grade classrooms. If that’s the hill they’re going to die on, then how do they possibly explain lining their pockets with their relationship from the Communist Party of China? Because that’s what they do and they make a fortune and they don’t say a word about the really brutal practices of that yo usee over there at the hands of the CCP. And so, in Florida, our policy’s got to be based on the best interests of Florida citizens, not on the musings of woke corporations

If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive
Much of the Left loathes masculinity and they love to paint Jesus as a non-offensive bearded woman who endorses their agenda. This book blows that nonsense all to hell. From the stonking laptop of bestselling author, Doug Giles, comes a new book that focuses on Jesus’ overt masculine traits like no other books have heretofore. It’s informative, bold, hilarious, and scary. Giles has concluded, after many years of scouring the scripture that, If Masculinity Is ‘Toxic’, Call Jesus Radioactive.
