REPORT: Hunter Biden Tried To Profiteer From Russian Oligarchs During 2014 War In Ukraine

While Joe was pretending to talk tough about the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine, Hunter was striking deals with Russian Oligarchs.

For all the angry denunciations of Putin from 2015 forward, the Dems sure were quiet when Putin marched in and took Crimea from Ukraine. What changed?

The Durham investigation is tying Team Hillary more and more tightly to the criminal conspiracy that led to the American Department of Justice being illicitly weaponized against a presidential nominee… and intentionally hamstringing his entire presidency.

Who knows, were it not for the Mueller investigation, Pelosi might not have regained the gavel. In that case, Trump’s Border Wall might have been completed, and the impeachment nonsense would never have taken place.

Precisely because of those allegations of Trump being Putin’s patsy, Russia has assumed the leading ‘monster’ role in the public imagination. To hear the media talk about him over the last 5 years, you’d think he was Godzilla, the Wolfman and Dracula all rolled into one. He’s certainly portrayed as a greater threat than Xi, terrorism, and the looming debt crisis all rolled together.

Putin’s inhuman conduct in Ukraine over the last month or so only affirms that larger-than-life opinion of him. Media and the Democrats have been talking endlessly about all sorts of Russian Oligarchs who are having their luxury assets seized, and are being slammed with various sanctions.

But to anyone paying attention, treating Putin as public enemy number one is a NEW phenomenon. Where was all of this outrage BEFORE they were trying to use him as a cudgel to attack Trump?

It simply didn’t exist.

In fact, key Democrats were explicitly opposed to sanctioning Russia. In 2010, Bill Clinton cashed in a half-million dollar speaking fee in Moscow at around the same time that Hillary was opposing Russian sanctions. After Bill’s speech, Putin called him to say thanks.

In his debate with Obama, Mitt Romney was even mocked for naming Russia as America’s greatest geopolitical adversary. Obama’s glib response was, “the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back. Because the Cold War has been over for 20 years.”

Obama’s taunt aged like milk. But it shows the Democrat antipathy to Russia was a comparatively new thing. Democrats have long been happy to take money from Russia when they can get it, even while accusing Republicans of being soft on Russian authoritarians. But do you remember how Joe Biden was running the Ukraine portfolio back when he was Veep? Mr. tough guy stated that the US would ‘never recognize the annexation of Crimea’ even though they have taken no steps either to force the return of Crimea or the very lucrative offshore oil drilling to Ukraine.

Remember that money Hunter scored from the Mayor of Moscow’s wife? It’s about to make a lot more sense.

While Joe was pretending to talk tough about the 2014 Russian invasion of Ukraine, his son Hunter was busy making bank with some Russian Oligarchs. Here’s how John Solomon’s JustTheNews site reports it:

In the shadows of Russia’s first invasion of Ukraine in 2014, Hunter Biden and his business partners embarked on an aggressive campaign to score millions of dollars in “life changing” business with oligarchs in both countries who had an interest in his father’s policymaking business, according to emails and court records obtained by Just the News.

President Joe Biden’s son and his associates targeted Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina — who eventually was sanctioned by the U.S. a few years later in 2018 — for as much as $200 million after helping her get a bank account set up in America, the emails show.

But don’t call it pay-for-play. In DC there’s a rule that only Republicans are ever allowed to be accused of corruption.

As the Euromaidan protests raged through January 2014, Hunter Biden’s partners struggled to secure U.S. bank approval for the Russian oligarch — a challenging task given that Baturina was on a bank’s financial transaction “watch list,” according to the emails.

By Jan. 15, 2014, Archer was growing impatient with how long it was taking to approve Baturina’s bank account application. “We are getting nowhere with Burnham on the Yelena account opening so we’re going to go with our boy Harold at [Morgan Stanley],” Archer wrote Galanis. “I’ve submitted her info to compliance and have a meeting scheduled for Tuesday with [Morgan Stanley] head of the Private Bank and HF. I will negotiate a revshare with BOE.”

…By mid-February 2014, the Russian oligarch planned to visit with Biden’s associates when she came to the U.S. for the official opening of her American account. On Feb. 14, 2014, Baturina wired $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton, LLC (an entity linked to Hunter Biden’,s Rosemont Seneca empire), according to a U.S. Senate report. One week later, Yanukovych fled Ukraine and the country plunged further into chaos.

The same month that Baturina got U.S. bank account approval and wired the $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton, then-Vice President Joe Biden was named Obama’s “point man” to deal with the chaos in Ukraine. —JustTheNews

While he was working on fleecing Russian Oligarchs, Hunter was also busy playing the other side of the table, and working connections with Ukrainian gazillionaires who had money to burn — like those in Burisma.

The original piece also includes details about business partners of Hunter Biden’s having pled guilty to a pay-for-play selling of access to highly-positioned political actors.

But we’re not supposed to question the integrity of the First Family’s favorite crack-smoker-turned-celebrity-artist.

After all, he’s the smartest person Joe knows.
