Bezos Tells Harsh Truth About Inflation That Team Biden Doesn’t Want You To Hear

Sure, the lies told by his own newspaper were a big part of why Joe got elected, but there comes a point where even Bezos can’t cover for Biden anymore.

In Jeff’s case, that ‘bridge too far’ was Biden’s talking point about inflation.

Is it true that most elected Democrats are financially illiterate, following whatever the latest talking points are? Sure. But Bezos is a billionaire. He spends his time with people with a far more sophisticated understanding of money.

There are some things he just can’t lie about without being laughed out of the room by people whose opinions he actually respects. Money is one of them.

Besides, the harder inflation hits, the less disposable income people will have for ordering whatever it is they would buy on Amazon.

Joe and his flunkies might be pushing that ‘Putin Price hike’ nonsense. But Bezos knows where the blame for this problem really belongs. Squarely at the feet of elected Democrats spending like drunken sailors.

Bezos, retweeting an account that goes by the name @ne0liberal, argued that the inflation crisis could have been made worse if not for West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin refusing to vote for further COVID stimulus.

‘The administration tried hard to inject even more stimulus into an already over-heated, inflationary economy and only Manchin saved them from themselves,’ Bezos wrote. ‘Inflation is a regressive tax that most hurts the least affluent. Misdirection doesn’t help the country.’ —DailyMail

Predictably, rather than accept any responsibility for the consequences of his policies, Biden went on the attack. He leaned on his Marxist supporter’s love of class warfare as he took a direct swipe at Bezos.

The White House responded to Bezos’ criticisms over the last two days with a statement on Sunday.

‘It doesn’t require a huge leap to figure out why one of the wealthiest individuals on earth opposes an economic agenda for the middle class that cuts some of the biggest costs families face, fights inflation for the long haul, and adds to the historic deficit reduction the president is achieving by asking the richest taxpayers and corporations to pay their fair share,’ said White House Deputy Press Secretary Andrew Bates.–DailyMail

The boasting in that reply is horsecrap… especially the ‘deficit reduction’ part from an administration that was clearly PISSED that a multi-trillion-dollar spending bill failed to pass.

The only Democrat that can be credited with even the slightest degree of fiscal responsibility would be the one guy who risked his reputation and party support when he blocked that bloated budget. Incidentally, that one Democrat is the very same one Bezos just praised for blocking Biden’s spending spree and keeping inflation from being even worse.

Why did Manchin oppose that enormous spending bill? He was concerned about … you guessed it … triggering inflation.

Biden inherited an economy that was being artificially suppressed by government-induced shutdowns. Things were on the upswing, and the economy should have come roaring back.

And it would have, if Joe hadn’t thrown a half-dozen wrenches in the gears of the American economy — beginning with jacking up the cost of energy by slashing opportunities for the world’s largest producer of energy to keep producing it and maintain the recently-acquired energy independence, and made worse with heavy regulations.

If this flame war between Biden and Bezos keeps up, maybe the Washington Post will start actually reporting the kind of damning news Biden has been so carefully shielded from until now.

Imagine the hair-on-fire reaction of liberals if WaPo suddenly started running stories about the Biden family’s business dealings with China, Ukraine, or Russia for example. For many of them, this would be the very first they heard of those scandals.

Or what if they started reporting on, say, the real harms associated with an undefended Southern Border? Or what about the string of unconstitutional abuses of power that seem to be piling up under Merrick Garland, abuses that just happen to benefit his friends and punish his enemies? We might stumble on something that looks like real reporting.

Go ahead, Joe. Keep placating your extremist base by picking unprovoked fights with Bezos. File that one under ‘eff around and find out’.

You’re probably too dumb to realize Bezos was trying to SAVE your ass from your own stupidity. But your butthurt ego thought he was out to destroy you.

Keep it up, Joe. Poke that bear as much as you like.

We’ll be over here making popcorn.
