Col West had our own Doug Giles as a guest on his show. And it got spicy.
That makes total sense since the theme of the day was ‘Religious freedom’.
What did they talk about?
They covered a lot of topics that the go-along-to-get-along and don’t-rock-the-boat type of pastor won’t want to hear. If that’s you, you should stay far away from this video. It might do this thing called provoke your conscience.
For anyone else? It’s a much-needed testosterone shot into the body of Christ crying out for a generation of pastors whose life and testimony sound more like biblical prophets and less like sock puppets.
The show is cued up to that interview with Doug right here.
Anyone who knows the history of the Black-robe regiment knows that Col West ended that interview with just about the best compliment you could give a patriotic preacher like Doug.
If you want to watch from the top of the show to catch West’s monologue and other guests, we’ve got you covered there, too:
Here’s the book they were talking about.
Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
