Somebody should have offered it to Dubya before he decided to weigh in on the Ukraine situation. Because as soon as he opened his mouth… he wished he hadn’t.
Any idiot — even Dubya — can look at what Putin has done in Ukraine and say he was a bad guy for doing it. So George the lesser really wasn’t adding anything to the conversation by pointing out the obvious about Putin.
It’s not exactly breaking news to say that Putin rigs his country’s elections, punishes his political opponents, and invades countries without cause. It’s more of what Rumsfield would have called a ‘known known’ back in the day.
But for some reason, the guy who gave us the Patriot Act (which has been used to run roughshod over the rights of Americans) felt the need to declare to the world that he was morally superior to Vladamir. Let’s have a look at how well his chest-thumping virtue-signaling went.

Dubya quickly backpedaled, offering up an offhanded reference to his age. Some people would call his Iraq reference a ‘Freudian Slip’.
Was George the Lesser planning to remind us all that Putin wasn’t the only one Democrats have called out for being a War Criminal? Because that’s what he just did.
Now that POTUS43 is cozy with the establishment, sharing candies with Michelle ‘Ma Belle’ Obama, and denouncing Trump supporters, all is forgiven. Or is it?
