For all the admiration the left claims to have had for Ruth Bader Ginsberg, it sure does seem like they have ignored the one lesson she offered that our country most desperately needs.

She is remembered as saying ‘You can disagree without being disagreeable.’ Whether that quote was original to her is immaterial. What’s important is that she, in her dear friendship with Scalia, lived by it. Political differences, even sharp ones, did not obscure the fact that the person with whom she disagreed still had intrinsic humanity and dignity.

Not so long ago, there was a time when death was seen as an occasion where the proper response was to lay aside our petty grievances and give the bereaved some modicum of respect.

Let’s compare how the right responds to tragic news to how the left does.

Since we began with an example of RBG, let’s carry that same example forward.

When Ruth passed, we saw Donald Trump’s reaction to it unfold in real-time on camera. He first learned of the news while being asked about it by a reporter after an event. There was a real sense of humanity echoing the Justice’s personal philosophy in his reaction. You can see it here.

Sad news of Ivana’s passing.

Yesterday, we learned of Ivana Trump’s passing.

Trump was discovered at the bottom of a staircase in her home on 10 E. 64th St. in Manhattan at 12:40 p.m., police sources told The Post. Authorities believe she suffered cardiac arrest, but the official cause of death has yet to be determined. She was found by cops who were called to her home for a wellness check, police said.

…A source close to Ivanka Trump told The Post the former first daughter is in “shock” over her mother’s death.

“They were super close,” the source said, adding that Ivana Trump had spent her last days with family in New York City.

“Her health has been in decline over the past few years,” the source added. –NYPost

Here was the 45th President’s reaction to Ivana’s passing:

She was Trump’s first wife and the mother of Ivanka, Eric, and Donald Jr. She played no role in the 45th President’s political career or his politics. But because of her connection to Trump, the Left saw her death as a political opportunity.

‘Wrong Trump’ was trending, for reasons that should not need explaining.

‘Epsteined’ was trending as well…

There’s only one conclusion to be drawn from the difference between Trump’s reaction to RBG and the left’s reaction to the death of his first wife and they won’t like it at all.

Trump has more class than any of them.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
