Isn’t this kind of discrimination against the law? You bet it is. Bring on the lawsuits!

Project Veritas released a new undercover video on Tuesday exposing the discriminatory hiring practices of a Greenwich, Connecticut school.

Jeremy Boland, who serves as Cos Cob Elementary School’s Assistant Principal, was recorded bragging about how he oversees the hiring of teachers who will “subtly” present “progressive” political ideas in the classrooms.

Boland admits to the undercover Project Veritas journalist that he doesn’t hire Catholics because they’re more likely to be conservatives. He said that if someone is raised “hardcore Catholic” then they’re “brainwashed” and “you can never change their mindset.”

Boland also says that he doesn’t interview anyone over the age of 30 because they’re “more set in their ways” and “the older you get, the more set in your ways — the more conservative you get.”

He said that the discriminatory hiring practice is part of grooming kids to “think in a progressive way.”

Boland said that young, progressive teachers are “savvy” at presenting a Democrat message without ever really mentioning politics — they just make a progressive way of thinking “normal” and it becomes a habit for the students.

Here’s some of what was said:

BOLAND: You’re teaching them [children] how to think. That’s it. It doesn’t matter what they think about. If they think about it in a logical progressive way, that becomes their habit.

VERITAS JOURNALIST: So, you kind of like, gear them to think in a more liberal way?

BOLAND: Mm-hmm. Believe it or not, the open-minded, more progressive teachers are actually more savvy about delivering a Democratic message without really ever having to mention politics.

In one portion of the video, he has some damning things to say about Protestants.

BOLAND: I’m not a huge expert on religion, but Protestants in this area [of Connecticut] are probably the most liberal. But if they’re Catholic — conservative.

VERITAS JOURNALIST: Oh, so then what do you do with the Catholics? If you find out someone is Catholic, then what?

BOLAND: You don’t hire them.

VERITAS JOURNALIST: So, would you ever hire a Catholic then?

BOLAND: No, I don’t want to…Because if someone is raised hardcore Catholic, it’s like they’re brainwashed. You can never change their mindset. So, when you ask them to consider something new, like a new opportunity, or “you have to think about this differently,” they’re stuck — just rigid.

Watch:

This violates Connecticut Law.

Section 46A-60B1 bans employment discrimination “because of the individual’s race, color, religious creed, age, sex, gender identity or expression.”

If Boland is being honest about his hiring practices, he has just admitted to discriminating against candidates based on their religious affiliation and their age.

Bring on the lawsuits!

This discriminatory hiring is wrong, but so is the ideological grooming.

Many right-wingers don’t seem to understand that all education is a form of indoctrination — you can’t teach a child how to think without telling them what to think. This is obvious in math, but it also is pretty clear in learning basic facts.

When public schools were (slightly) less hostile to conservatism, this was less of an issue since students would be exposed to a variety of views as they encountered more teachers throughout their education.

Now, however, because of the “progressive” leftist ideological capture of the education system, kids are being indoctrinated into one particular “critical theory” worldview and it’s one that’s quite harmful to students (ie. views on gender) and society at large (ie. views on race and the wholesale rejection of Western values).

The left has your kids for 8 hours a day from the time they’re 3 or 4 until they graduate from college. That’s a helluva lot of time to push their ideology that is antithetical to yours.

Homeschool your kids and if you can’t, make sure that you talk to them often about what they’re learning and push back on these harmful ideas. Most importantly, pray for your kids and make sure that you’re instilling your values into them.

Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.

Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.

This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
