Something WEIRD Is Going On With That Attack On Paul Pelosi…

Any time someone winds up in the hospital after being attacked, it’s a big deal. Unlike the left rejoicing in Rand Paul winding up in the hospital, we wish Paul Pelosi a speedy recovery.

That being said, the narrative the left-wing media ran with from the get-go leaves more questions than answers.

For example, why did the assault only seem to take place AFTER police arrived on the scene? And who brought the hammer into the conflict? Was it Pelosi’s hammer? Or did the attacker bring it with him?

Right-wingers on Twitter started noticing that the pieces of information don’t seem to fit together very well.

The more that came out about the attacker, David DePape, the weirder things got.

During the press conference, Scott explained that at around 2:27 a.m. local time on Friday, officers were called for a well-being check at Pelosi’s home. When officers arrived at the residence, which is located in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood, they encountered an adult male and Paul Pelosi inside the home.
“Our officers observed Mr. Pelosi and the suspect both holding a hammer. The suspect pulled the hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and violently assaulted him with it,” Scott said. “Our officers immediately tackled the suspect, disarmed him, took him into custody, requested emergency backup and rendered medical aid.” — Newsweek

Stories with various levels of outrage directed toward Republicans were written, some blaming Trump for creating the hostile environment in which such an attack could happen, others complaining that he had failed to show the proper level of concern for Pelosi. Yet others complained that Republicans used this story as a springboard to talk about the problem of violent crime.

Of course, the fact that Democrats said nothing when a pro-abortion activist had acted on information from a Democrat activist group who had Doxxed the private homes of Supreme Court justices to conconct a plan to assassinate one (or more) Republican-appointed justices in their homes because of the pending Dobbs Decision — and that Pelosi herself played politics with Republican proposals to provide security for them — is not mentioned in the context of this story.

Biden joined other Democrats and their media echo chamber in jumping to conclusions about David being a Trump supporter. Like so many other stories we’ve seen before now, putting an advantageous spin on a story is more important than getting the story right.

But what FACTS do we have about the man who attacked Pelosi?

The New York Post — the same folks whose scoop of the Hunter Biden laptop was wilfully suppressed by the the Intelligence Community and Big Tech to protect Joe’s 2020 election chances — looked into the attacker’s personal history in an article penned by Michael Shellenberger, who has a well-documented history of actually meeting with and getting to know the personal situations of the homeless community in San Francisco.

And, as I soon discovered, DePape lived with a notorious local nudist in a Berkeley home, complete with a Black Lives Matter sign in the window and an LGBT rainbow flag, emblazoned with a marijuana symbol, hanging from a tree. A closer look reveals the characteristics of a homeless encampment, or what Europeans call “an open drug scene.” In the driveway, there is a broken-down camper van. On the street is a yellow school bus, which neighbors said DePape occasionally stayed in. Both are filled with garbage typical of such structures in homeless encampments. People come and go from the house and the vehicles, neighbors say, in part to partake in the use of a potent psychedelic drug, ibogaine.
Neighbors described DePape as a homeless addict with politics that was, until recently, left-wing, but of secondary importance to his psychotic and paranoid behavior.
“What I know about the family is that they’re very radical activists,” said one of DePape’s neighbors, a woman who only gave her first name, Trish. “They seem very left. They are all about the Black Lives Matter movement. Gay pride. But they’re very detached from reality. They have called the cops on several of the neighbors, including us, claiming that we are plotting against them. It’s really weird to see that they are willing to be so aggressive toward somebody else who is also a lefty.”
…But much of the rest of the news media, particularly local journalists who could have interviewed DePape’s neighbors, were swept up in the narrative that DePape was more like John Wilkes Booth, the fanatical but sane assassin of Abraham Lincoln, than John Hinkley, Jr., the mentally ill man who shot Ronald Reagan. DePape is much more like one of the hundreds of psychotic homeless people I’ve interviewed in recent years than the fanatical climate ideologues who I’ve been writing about in recent weeks.
— Michael Shellenberger, NYPost

Oxane “Gypsy” Taub, DePape’s ex and the mother of his sons, said that he has been mentally ill for a long time and that when she knew him he wasn’t all that political, but he was aligned with her progressive views.

“Hello this is Gypsy Taub. I am the ex-life partner of David DePape and the mother of his children,” Oxane Taub told the outlet.
“He is mentally ill. He has been mentally ill for a long time,” she added, saying she had two sons with the man before splitting up seven years ago…
…”When I met him, he was only 20 years old , and he didn’t have any experience in politics, and he was very much in alignment with my views, and I’ve always been very progressive. I absolutely admire Nancy Pelosi,” she said. — Fox News

It’s amazing what a little honest digging can turn up about a story, isn’t it?

It would be easy to say the ‘learned nothing’ from the Jussie Smollett story. But that’s not really what’s happening here, is it?

The left-wing media don’t even CARE what the true story is. They only care if they can change the news story in these last few days before the election and save a couple of blue seats that are balanced on a knife’s edge.

A homeless guy out of his gourd on some high-potency illicit drug paints a very different story than the picture the media WANTS us to believe about somebody’s uncle uncle Gary reading the wrong website, getting royally pissed off, having one too many cans of Coors Light, and deciding he’s going to play the hero and save the country by ‘taking care of’ Pelosi himself.

If any independents read this article, or even voters who would normally consider themselves ‘moderate Democrats’ we would encourage you to ask one question.

If the ‘trustworthy’ news reporters are lying about THIS story to help one party over the other, what OTHER stories have they been handling the same way?

For bonus points, you could ask a follow-up. Are these media flunkies stupid, or do they assume their audience is?
