This clearly exposes the differences between the Left and the Right when it comes to the role of parents.

To the leftists like Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), parents should hand over their children’s education to the seemingly unaccountable public education “experts” for 8 hours a day from age 3 to 18 and then send them off to leftwing indoctrination centers — better known as colleges and universities.

Meanwhile, to those on the right, like Senator Tim Scott (R-SC), it’s actually parents that are the primary educators of children and they need to have a say on what is happening in schools.

On Thursday, Rep. Swalwell posted a tweet that shows just how much the left relies on that “expert” class including the heavy-Democrat donors in the Teachers’ Unions.

Posting a screenshot of Sen. Scott’s quote from Fox News, Swalwell wrote, “Please tell me what I’m missing here. What are we doing next? Putting patients in charge of their own surgeries? Clients in charge of their own trials? When did we stop trusting experts. [sic] This is so stupid.”

He just doesn’t get it.

About those “experts”…

Just a little scroll through a few social media accounts like Libs of TikTok, Chris Rufo, and school choice advocate Corey DeAngelis shows you that teachers and teachers’ unions are more focused on leftwing indoctrination rather than basic education.

Radical gender theory and LGBTQ+ issues seem to be absolute obsessions of public school educators. Reading, writing, and math… eh, not so much.

Parents are not idiots and the 2020 COVID lockdowns exposed bigger problems in education than parents had imagined. For a long time, many parents were lamenting the lowered standards in education, but virtual learning showed parents exactly what was happening — or not happening — in classrooms.

With the rise of social media, (especially TikTok,) teachers are outing themselves. On video.

There are some that are clearly mentally ill and should seek help.

Some of them seem to really hate parents and openly state that they don’t want to tell parents when students are going through something.

A few are ideological nutbars who will dehumanize anyone that disagrees with them… and try to pass that same view onto their students.

It seems that “educators” don’t really like Western Civilization very much and want to be more “culturally responsive” in their approach to education. Where does that leave students? It leaves them ignorant, incapable, and easier to manipulate.

We already know that schools are really pushing the Rainbow stuff because it’s baked into the curriculum, but teachers are going above and beyond what’s already in there.

Some of them have a very sick view of the students they teach.

Maybe it’s because sex-ed looks a helluva lot like grooming these days with the increase in highly-sexualized content to younger and younger kids.

The tyranny of the “experts” isn’t just happening in education — it’s everywhere. The most glaring example is with the “public health experts” during COVID who seemed to be high on their own power for a couple of years.

Teachers have complete control in the classroom and they know it. Many of them have been high on their power for a lot longer than a couple of years.

Because they went to college to learn how to write a lesson plan, guys. You know, that thing that homeschooling parents do all the time?

It’s time for parents to get back involved in their kids’ education. And it’s happening.
