The Biden administration is almost single-handedly destroying the left’s reputation of being masters at messaging.
For an administration so concerned about the ‘dangers of online misinformation’ they sure do sling a lot of it. At this point the Biden White House could hardly be called upon to reliably report the weather, let alone the state of the nation.
This time their lie was so egregious and indefensible, they actually DELETED an official Presidential Tweet. Technically, they’re supposed to preserve all official White House communications, but they deleted this one.
It was deleted because it got fact-checked into oblivion.
Here’s the original tweet. They were very proud to take credit for a HUGE increase to social security payouts. You can almost HEAR the subtext: Look at how magnanimous we are! See the direct connection between Biden being president and YOUR increased Social Security payout…?
They were VERY proud to connect his leadership to this increase.

They were proud of that fact, UNTIL someone came along and told the REST of the story…

Seniors will receive a large Social Security benefit increase due to the annual cost of living adjustment, which is based on the inflation rate. President Nixon in 1972 signed into law automatic benefit adjustments tied to the Consumer Price Intex Pub. L. No. 92-336 (1972).

Why did they delete this tweet?
To admit that his leadership gave Seniors their ‘biggest increase’ in Social Security checks is to admit that Biden’s leadership was responsible for the factor that changes how much they get.
Unfortunately for Joe, that would be a direct admission that his leadership was responsible for … you guessed it … the rise in the inflation rate.
Funny enough, it was their attempt at lying that accidentally told the truth.
And that truth is something they DARE not let us see.
