This is what quiet confidence looks like. She’s neither dejected nor angry. She knows the vindication she’s looking for can only be found in one place — the ballots.
The only thing left is the process of seeing them tabulated and put into the official count. It’s a process that has been painfully slow in coming, but it is one that has been playing out as it should.
Kari Lake isn’t sweating the results. Her speech strikes the tone of a leader encouraging the resolve of an uncertain crowd, unlike so many others in her position who might be desperately looking to the crowd for an infusion of strength.
Here’s the speech she gave, updating the crowd on the progress, explaining how the ballot drops from Maricopa we’ve been waiting on have been breaking in her favor — now that they are finally being counted.

It ain’t over till the fat lady sings.
And there’s something else to remember here. The ballots that are finally getting added to the count and bringing Lake’s numbers up are the same ballots that will decide the Senatorial race, too.
