Their job description literally includes taking a bullet to save the life of a protectee, but Joe Biden STILL doesn’t think he can trust them.
That, according to a soon-to-be-released book, includes a belief that the Secret Service made up stories about his dog biting staffers.
President Biden doesn’t speak about sensitive matters in front of the Secret Service and told a friend that he thought an agent lied about being bitten on the leg last year by then-first dog Major, according to a new book — despite internal emails indicating the German shepherd bit agents eight days in a row.
“Look, the Secret Service are never up here. It didn’t happen,” Biden reportedly said while pointing out the location of the alleged attack on the second floor of the White House.
Biden thought “somebody was lying … about the way the incident had gone down,” author Chris Whipple writes in “The Fight of His Life,” according to excerpts published by The Independent ahead of the book’s Jan. 17 release. — NewYorkPost

There seems to be some spillover between the breathless of the over-hyping of the Donald Trump ‘threat to democracy’ narrative and Joe’s perception of his own rank-and-file staff.
Biden was also concerned that “Maga sympathisers” had become embedded in the ranks of the Secret Service, the same agents tasked with the protection of his life, according to the excerpts of the book.
That was because Biden thought the agency was “full of white ex-cops from the South who tend to be deeply conservative,” Whipple said.
As a result, Biden felt he could “no longer” speak “freely” in the presence of his Secret Service agents, Whipple added. –FoxNews

He launched his Presidency on the Charlottesville Lie. All his other lies simply flow from that source. That sort of attitude on the part of management tends to get noticed by the people doing the work.

Maybe Joe’s paranoia comes, in part, from remembering how he and Obama set up government insiders to completely subvert the Trump Presidency and knowing how active he has been in weaponizing various aspects of the government against his political enemies during his own time in office. Recall how giddy Comey was about ‘duping’ the Trump administration because they were naive enough to think they were NOT subversive political agents with a malicious political agenda.
Or maybe that’s just one more clue as to the dubious state of his mind.
