When Joe Biden was sworn in, the press made such a big deal about Joe’s religious beliefs. Look at the big Bible he was sworn in with. And isn’t he such a better example of faith than the guy before him?
Well, the press may have been impressed by Joe’s show of religion. But the Vatican wasn’t.
In the coming funeral service for the recently-passed Pope Emeritus Benedict, simplicity is the order of the day. A couple of world leaders have been invited to the services. Joe Biden is not among them.
Here is Biden’s spokes-muppet fielding questions about the Pope. You will notice she should have taken a moment to practice saying the word ’emeritus’ before she actually used it in public.

Vatican spokesman Matteo Bruni told reporters that “following the wishes of the pope emeritus, the funeral will be held under the sign of simplicity,” stressing that it will be a “solemn but sober funeral.”
“The express request on the part of the emeritus pope is that everything be simple, both with regard to the funeral as well as the other celebrations and gestures during this time of pain,” he added.
While only two state delegations were officially invited to attend the funeral Mass for the pope emeritus, some heads of state and public figures have decided to attend the funeral in an unofficial capacity.
Poland’s President Andrzej Duda, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar are among those who have already confirmed their attendance at Benedict XVI’s funeral in an unofficial capacity. –CNA
It’s probably for the best that the President who has been championing abortion and arresting Catholic ministers for inviting people NOT to kill their unborn children is NOT attending the pope’s funeral.
