My State, My Country: Beseiged By Illegal Immigration
I attended a lecture in Raleigh by a knowledgeable presenter who laid out the statistics related to Hispanics in North Carolina, my current home state. Of 11.3 million people here, 1.3 million are Hispanic, based on 2019 data (before Biden was installed as president). According to the American Community Survey, 54% of them are Mexicans, followed distantly by Puerto Ricans, Hondurans, Salvadorans, Guatemalans, and a variety of other nationalities.
Of all Hispanics in North Carolina, 34% are here illegally: they are not citizens and they do not have green cards or work permits. The presenter felt as if this was a fortunate development, accenting that 66% of the Hispanics are here legally.
It is not a fortunate development.
Ramifications Happen
In America, still the world’s greatest melting pot, with at least 61 million Hispanic residents, out of a total population of 336 million, not enough eyebrows are raised. Nearly one in five residents here are Hispanic, with a median age far lower than the rest of our population. As many as one in three Hispanics residing in the U.S. could be illegal, and certainly as many as one in four are illegal.
With more than one in three in North Carolina, ramifications abound. Most of these Hispanic individuals whom you might encounter are well under age 30. What does this mean from a social and cultural standpoint? At least 1 in 30 people in hospital emergency rooms are receiving benefits for which they have offered no financial contribution. One in 30, 3.3%, is consequential. Would you enjoy an unannounced 3.3% rise in your rent or mortgage?
About 29% of all foreign-born North Carolina residents (not simply Hispanics) age 16 or over, are not in the labor force, based on data from the U.S Census Bureau. Nationwide, 74% of adults, ages 19 to 64, have health insurance. In North Carolina, it’s only 54%. Who pays for all these people?
Subtle Burdens Add Up
On the roads, illegal drivers cause a disproportionate share of accidents and are an added burden to the police force and first responders. Many public servants already work long hours. An added burden to their workload is significant: If you have a 40-hour job, from 9 to 5, 5 days a week, and you’re required to work more hours with no extra compensation and benefits, and no acknowledgment, is that fair?
And suppose the percentage of illegals in NC climbs to more than 34%.
North Carolina currently is not a central magnet for Hispanics coming over the border. California, Illinois, New York, Texas, and Florida bear the brunt of the border invasion. They come to North Carolina largely because they already have a relative with whom they can stay, or there’s some other compelling, close, personal connection.
Replacing Caucasians IS the Goal
The Leftists seek as many illegals here and in every state as quickly as possible. If the Biden Administration has its way, the percentage will grow markedly. Despite their denials, their long-term goal is to replace the U.S. Caucasian population or at least to quickly make it a minority. By 2050, they could succeed.
Since Biden took office, 2.8 million more illegals have flooded our land. Those on the Right lament and ask what the use is, as long as our immigration policies, especially along the southern border, are so lax, how are we going to stop the invasion?
Any country that seeks to maintain its culture, finances, sovereignty, and all other aspects of nationhood, cannot endure an unending stream of immigration lawbreakers. Indeed, one cannot cite another country on Earth that is both prosperous and is experiencing our border crisis.
A Steep, Unending Tax
Every time another illegal plants a foot in America and is shuttled to our interior by the Biden Administration, is given a $500 per night hotel room in New York, and is allowed to partake of our educational, medical, and social services, it is a steep tax on everyone who resides here legally, pays taxes, and acts responsibly.
The New York trash buildup in hotel rooms and hallways housing the illegals speaks volumes as to how many of these people live and act. A former employee of the Row Hotel took pictures of the hotel rooms occupied by people flown in from the border by the Biden Administration. The scene is beyond ugly and chaotic, festering with violence and drug use.
Slowly, but not in the distant future, thanks to the Biden Administration, and Democrats and RINOs in Congress, the scene will multiply across America.
