Stelter Tries To Dunk On FoxNews… Gets Absolutely REKT On Social Media
Hey Potato! Take your L -- you earned it

In a shocking act of bipartisanship, Brian Stelter gave his political rivals a gift. The gift was an entirely unintentional self-own, but it’s yet another thing to be grateful for this Thanksgiving.
He gave us a chance to watch him self-immolate.
That’s right… he’s become a potato that cooks itself!
Brian Stelter, former host of the CNN’s hilariously named (and now defunct) ‘Reliable Sources’ saw an opportunity to dunk on Fox News.
For context, Fox News was reporting on the explosion on the Rainbow Bridge.
It was only natural to wonder whether the vehicle explosion at a border crossing on one of the busiest travel days of the year — at a time when Hamas was calling on their sympathizers around the world to stike international targets — might have a terrorist connection. In the ‘fog of war’ moments after the attack, someone got out over their skis and attributed this to a vehicle packed with explosives.
Fox News and other sources — including yours truly — ran the story about a terror attack. Even before it was written, we had adjusted some sections of our story as the picture was shifting.
It was only later that we learned it wasn’t two terrorists in a truck, but a $300k Bentley launched flying into a Dukes-of-Hazzard worthy arc through the air into a concrete barrier. High speed. High impact. Big explosion. Mystery solved.
As you might expect from honest reporting, we have updated our story accordingly. CNN’s own biases make them unlikely to touch a ‘terror attack’ story unless they are dragged to it kicking and screaming. Look no further than how they report on record numbers of people from terror lists sauntering in over the Southern border.
The network likely breathed a sigh of relief when they DIDN’T have to report on a terror attack that couldn’t be somehow weaponized against Donald Trump.
For some reason, Stelter saw this as an opportunity to dunk on Fox News as purveyors of ‘Fake News’. He pushed further than the current issue in an attempt at makinking a broader point about ‘journalistic standards’.
That was a mistake. The internet punished that mistake ruthlessly.
First — Stelter’s insufferable crowing
Here is the pushback.
Naturally, yours truly had to get in on the fun…
Hey, Mr. 'Journalistic Standards'…
Does THIS look familiar?Care to explain 'Melaniagate' in light of these criteria? pic.twitter.com/xvYe3Jdjzq

Others made similar points in different ways.
Isn’t it funny how — after not even thinking about him for Heaven alone knows how long — the internet served up Mashed Potato for Thanksgiving?
Ah. It’s the little things.
Have a great one, everybody!
Just try not to lose sight of who it is we’re really thanking:

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
