Unmasked & Zip-Tied: LA Riots Have Entered Their ‘Find Out’ Phase
Don't look for the Veep to help you raise bail this time around, buddy

For years, rent-a-mobs have operated with relative impunity, serving as the militant jackboot enforcement arm of hard-left ideology.
We used to have a name for groups that embrace tactics of violence and intimidation to achieve political goals. But only when we can find some excuse to tag that name on someone that can be framed as right-leaning. Everyone else is just a ‘protester’ or maybe an ‘activist’.
These ‘activists’ have pressed their luck. Many of them will be facing serious federal criminal charges. And don’t expect any more leniency from this DOJ than the J6 defendants got from theirs. Of course, you won’t be seeing any Brady violations this time around, so that would be another difference.
The Marines are en route to the scene
By the time this story goes live, they will already be there.
🚨 #BREAKING: Over a dozen buses full of Marines have now left Twentynine Palms and are headed to Los Angeles
700 active duty Marines will be on the ground within hours

That’s on top of the 4,000 National Guard forces that have been activated to keep order on Los Angeles streets.
While busloads of Marines are on their way IN to Los Angeles, law enforcement has slapped zip ties on the wrists of rioters and sent them off to wherever their new homes will be. Some of them may be staying much longer than they had expected.
As Daily Mail described it:
Extraordinary footage showed rioters – who had driven Downtown LA to a standstill for four days – zip-tied and forced onto LAPD buses en masse as authorities sought to bring an end to days of chaos and destruction.
They were ordered to disperse. They ignored the order. So they’re riding the bus.

Meanwhile, some of the guys who thought they could get away with felonies without facing real consequences are finding out they aren’t as anonymous as they figured they were. That goes for people attacking law enforcement and looters too. The guy who broke up cinder blocks to throw them at cops? Mask or no mask, his identity is now known and he’s on the FBI’s wanted list.
.@AGPamBondi provides an update on the many steps the DOJ is taking to prosecute criminals in LA, as well as protect law enforcement and the general public:

With aggressive prosecution of people connected to this civil unrest, now is a good time for me to suggest that some of the loudest Democrats and their operatives (like Randi Weingarten) stop trying to whip up the frenzies behind this action.
They’ve spent the last four years telling the world about how important it is to prosecute anyone responsible for ‘incitement’ of a crime. You tried and failed to make any of that stick against Trump — party because he explicitly told people to be peaceful.
But they should take note that the felon who was accessing police scanners to tell the world about police movements, and openly discussed doxxing law enforcement details on social media.
It’s easy to be a keyboard warrior in a world without consequences.
Ditto for a political agitator.
Until the adults are back in charge, that is.
