Armed Group That Ambushed And Shot ICE Officer In The Neck Facing Up To Life In Prison

Are Dems STILL defending their anti-ICE violent rhetoric after THIS?

There is a point at which people cross the line from being disorderly protesters to criminal insurgents. It’s a line that was crossed in Alvarado Texas this July 4th.

While most people on the 4th of July are enjoying fireworks at a celebration (whether large, or small), commemorating 249 years of having a country to call home, some would prefer to mark the occasion by picking up weapons and using a ruse to set up an ambush for shooting at unarmed federal agents.

When actual ideological heirs of Lenin and Stalin talk about revolution, that language does include the possibility of murdering the people who would stand in their way. In the name of ‘justice’, or something.

After years of activism without consequence, the Antifa types have become emboldened to murder people in the name of their supposedly righteous cause.

Eleven people involved in the attack have been arrested. Some of them face between 10 years and life in prison after drawing unarmed ICE agents out of the building, so that others could ambush and shoot them dead. Fortunately, the agent they tried to murder, though injured, and shot in the neck, will live.

There is a very detailed complete description of the event at CBS News that shows just how deliberate the planning of this ambush really was. Some excerpts will be included below for context.

Just before 11 p.m., the Alvarado Police Department said it was called to the 1200 block of Sunflower Lane, outside the ICE Prairieland Detention Facility, on a report of a suspicious person. When officers arrived, they saw a person who appeared to be carrying a firearm, according to a news release.

Alvarado police said that when one of the first responding officers tried to engage with the person, an unknown number of suspects opened fire. At least one bullet struck an officer in the neck, police said.
[…] After the suspects fled, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped seven suspects, some wearing body armor, others covered in mud, some were armed and others had two-way radios, Larson said.

During their search, investigators also found a flag that read “resist fascism, fight oligarchy” and fliers that read “fight ICE terror with class war,” and “free all political prisoners.”

Larson said investigators also found Faraday bags. She said criminals use Faraday bags “because they think it prevents law enforcement officers from finding their location.”

Additional searches occurred over the weekend and officers found masks, goggles, tactical gloves, more body armor, a cache of nine additional weapons, spray paint, fireworks, and insurrectionist material.

The actual ambush involved the graffiti-makers drawing the ICE agents out of the building, while others, standing apart from the persons of interest, or concealed in nearby woods, opening fire on the agents while they are distracted and unaware of the threat.

These wanna-be revolutionaries might be glad they are only facing life in prison. There was a point in American history — not so long ago — where such obvious acts of treachary would be remedied in fairly short order with a tree and a length of rope.
