HILARIOUS: Gavin Newsom Gets HUMILIATED At Davos… TWICE

Gotta be a bitter pill for a narcissist of his calibre

You know that quote in the gospels about it being better to take a lower seat in a public function and be invited higher than it is to be brushed off so that someone of greater importance can take your spot? Well, Gavin just demonstrated that principle in spades.

Davos is exactly the sort of place to which someone like Newsome would gravitate. All kinds of rich and entitled people rubbing elbows with the politically powerful so that each can gain access to what the other group has.

Somewhere in the process they convince themselves that because they are a group of oligarch power-brokers, they are somehow the intellects and saviours of the world. Of course, it wouldn’t take anything more than surface-level probing of the facts to bring down the entire house of cards for the lie that it so obviously is.

How would they explain, for example, reports of the sudden hard pivot from the all-wise leaders of the Globalist Vision away from the green energy movement to the fulsome embrace of AI in every industry, including what is said to be the embrace of ramping up of energy generation of every kind, from nuclear to coal? Weren’t these same people (along with political avatars like AOC) preaching a Turn-Or-Burn secular gospel about the planet hurtling to a irrevocable demise by 2031 unless we embrace a set of policies that even her own Chief Of Staff was caught admitting was not so much of an Environmental revolution as backdoor embrace of Socialist/Communist revolutionary economic ideals? None of that hypocrisy matters to the sort of people who go to such places mainly to network and be seen. It’s almost as if Dems go out of their way to reinforce the right’s perception that billionaire leftist donors collect politicians as if they were Pokemon cards:

Gavin Newsom must have been thoroughly chuffed that he had been invited to have a little Ted Talk in front of the rich and powerful at Davos. He had the rug pulled out from under his event. Even now he’s blaming Trump for it. He should think twice about making that claim. If he’s wrong, he looks like a jilted mean girl from middle school. If he’s right, Gavin has just reminded the world that in the grand scheme of things, Newsom is a minor player among the big fish. Either way, he comes out looking small. But then, realizing that might take more humility and emotional intelligence than he has at his command.

Losing the limelight on the one stage where wanna-be power-players most desperately long to be seen and admired would have been enough to bruise an ego like his. But that was just the beginning. Along comes Scott Bissent who not only compares Gavin to Patrick Bateman meets Sparkle Beach Ken, but blasts him as the only Californian who knows less about economics than [and this comparison has really GOT to hurt!] Kamala Harris.

Then he proceeded to drag him on not just his hypocrisy, and on the fact that he never got his chance to speak, but on the catastrophic effects his time in office had on the once-Great State of California.

The news at the end, where Bessent pledged to come to California to track down waste fraud and abuse must have made some of his friends break out in a cold sweat.
