Even CNN’s Own Speech Watchers Know Trump’s SOTU Hit It Out Of The Park!

Whoops.

The old Trump Bump strikes again!

Trump was underwater in public perception about how things have been playing out at the national level, thanks in large part to how the media itself has been hyping up every negative news story while falling suspiciously silent about things like, how Tom Homan sealed the border tighter than a duck’s backside, or the fact that violent crime, murder, and overdose deaths are at astonishing new lows.

That’s before we even take a look how he’s defied experts’ predictions with shockingly good economic and foreign policy success.

All he had to do for a successful SOTU was to tell memorable stories that would help put human faces on abstract facts.

You don’t need to ask his biggest fans how successful he was. You can look over at his ‘ancient rivals’ at CNN, with whom he’s sparred since before he was even sworn in, who would LOVE to gloat over his failures, if there were any to gloat over.

Sadly for them…

Gee, what do you suppose moved the needle?

Was it all the feel good stories about American excellence, military valor, about sharing the sorrow of loss, while promising to solve the root issues responsible? Was it showing a real little girl whose life was shattered as a direct consequence of Democrat policies, or highlighting real families where his policies have helped families afford prescriptions that would have been out of reach, or have thousands and thousands of extra dollars in their wallet because Uncle Sam wasn’t taxing overtime or tips?

Or…?

Could it maybe have been the effortless way he got the Dems to admit the indefensible again and again?

He called them out as crazy when they refused to stand in support of the young woman who got her life back after a judge ripped her out of her family, and stuck her with a boys’ home because schools (and the judge) undercut her parental relationship at a point where she was a teen confused about her gender. Now, the young woman is reunited with her family and enjoying a full ride scholarship.
