BLM’s Reputation Takes ANOTHER Hit… Local Leader Brawls With Female Staffer Over Money

[Can we all stop for a moment to appreciate the irony that an organization whose main objective was to gin up sufficient contempt for the police (including through lies and defamation) that police would lose public support and no longer be funded?]

Police in Waukegan, Illinois, responded to a call on Jan. 12 to break up a fight at the local BLM group’s office. The two subjects were found at the scene and interviewed.

McLemore told officers that Hill came into the office asking him for money and cigarettes. McLemore claimed he told Hill he didn’t have any money and asked her to leave, according to a report from the Lake & McHenry County Scanner.

He alleged that Hill refused to leave and grabbed him by the hood and hit him in the face.

Hill contradicted his testimony, saying that she confronted the organization’s founder over his frivolous spending. The fight, she alleged, began after he got up from his seat and attempted to shove her out of the door. She claimed in a police report that she saw McLemore spend money intended for the organization on “girls” and “gambling.” — DailyCaller

It was McLemore who called 911.

Neither party pressed charges. But Hill made sure she filed a police report. Both are reported to have criminal histories. Him for trespassing, her for being a party to a kidnapping.

If that grant used FEDERAL tax dollars (and even if it doesn’t) these two should be ready for a knock on their door from the IRS. Or possibly some other federal agency.

At the height of the pandemic, BLM became THE litmus test used to prove a person or corporation’s moral worth. If you don’t support it, it’s assumed you are a bigot. Right-of-center news sites had their GoogleAds funding nuked for criticizing them. (Along with any of the other bleeding-edge woke positions of the day — transing kids, men in women’s sports, social distancing, Covid shutdowns, Lab leak theory… on and on)

Those of us who looked at their website (before the controversial parts were taken down) saw that their agenda went far beyond merely elevating a disadvantaged minority. They were looking to take a wrecking ball to pretty much every aspect of society as America knew it… right down to the nuclear family itself. The story we wrote about it after visiting their page is no longer around, but DailyWire still has the receipts.

We didn’t trust them from the get-go, assuming it was just the latest permutation of the ever-changing political skin-suit that leftwing activists take to carry their supposedly ‘grassroots’ but yet somehow highly-coordinated messages with pre-made signs and enormous flags readily available. Just like the Ukraine marches faded away to be replaced by Palestine marches, to be replaced by No Kings Marches, and IcE marches, which should soon be replaced by marches defending what, Iran’s Theocratic tyranny? They were punctuated by intermittent appearance by the perennial themes of abortion, Pride, and trans issues and other issues of the day — like anti-DOGE attacks on the once-beloved Tesla.

What a fickle bunch. Anyway…

Once the dust had settled, the self-proclaimed ‘trained Marxists’ who founded BLM and were ‘very well versed’ in the ideology were just like so many Marxist grifters before them. They used tactics honed by Jesse Jackson and Sharpton to bully corporations into supporting their cause so they weren’t held up as examples of ‘racism’ while the organizers made out like bandits.

Once all the chapter leaders noticed that none of the gazillions of dollars never actually trickled down to help actual black people in impoverished neighborhoods — (because it was being spent on lavish homes for the founders) it was too late.
