YO DEMS: Why Are You Blocking DHS Funding While Americans Are Fighting A Terror Supporter?

Dems would rather argue the validity of the strikes in Iran than fund the very department whose job it is to keep us safe from hostile powers like Iran-aligned terror cells.

Iran’s got some of the world’s pre-eminent cyber-sabotage capabilities, and American cyber-security is being furloughed until Congress can finish playing their political brinksmanship games. Not that it means anything to Schumer who refuses to budge until he has the all tools he needs to Dox American law enforcement and threaten their families. Because every deportation negatively impacts Democrat re-election strategies.

If Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terror, have a track record of hundreds of assassinations around the world have had 4 years of open borders in which to entrench themselves on US soil, and have already made attempts on American targets, by what possible logic are Democrats continuing to block the funding of the DHS?

CBS gave a summary of departments impacted by the partial shutdown.

On Feb 22, DHS put out a press release describing how they would be restricting the use of resources for the duration of the spending shutdown.

It is having tangible impacts on FEMA, TSA, and Border Patrol.

Even if we weren’t looking at conflict with Iran, they’re still playing games with the security of elected officials. It’s been what, a week or two since we heard this story?

The U.S. Secret Service-involved shooting of a man with a shotgun inside the secure perimeter of Mar-a-Lago over the weekend brought the Department of Homeland Security’s partial shutdown into new focus.

Two USSS agents and a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy confronted and later shot and killed Austin Martin, 21, who authorities said slipped through a vehicular exit gate that had opened for a car before brandishing his weapon.

“They confronted a white male that was carrying a gas can and a shotgun. He was ordered to drop those two pieces of equipment that he had with him – at which time he put down the gas can, raised the shotgun to a shooting position… the deputy and the two Secret Service agents fired their weapons and neutralized the threat,” according to Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw. — FoxNews

Of course, why would Dems worry about Secret Service security. It’s not as if the RIGHT-of-center activists are the ones with a taste for ‘justified’ violence.

When Kristi Noem was called to Congress, it was inevitible that the topic would be raised.

Our Cybersecurity Agency (@CISAgov) has lost hundreds of workers who have been furloughed. We have training for weapons of mass destruction, for detecting bombs and terrorist activities across the country, many of whom work with our local law enforcement, who have been furloughed and are not on duty today.

The Democrat Party is damaging families long-term to make a political point when it has no effect on what we are doing for immigration enforcement every single day, because that agency is funded.

While we’re on the topic of protecting Americans… how about that time when team Biden was using Taxpayer dollars to pay child traffickers to — you guessed it — traffic children? Seems kinda news-y don’t it? She brought that topic up in the hearings, but had a little more time to describe it here.

The Biden administration’s open border policies lost over 450,000 children. Many of these unaccompanied minors were even taken to corrupt sponsors, paid by the Biden administration.
