To the Rescue: Can Men Like Tommy Robinson (EDL) Save Britain?

Over the last few years, the EDL has clashed with opposing demonstrators consisting of not only militant Muslim mobs and the police, but also with large groups of extremely violent Leftist thugs calling themselves (without irony intended, of course) “Unite Against Fascism.”  Invariably, in these events the UAF psychos provoke and commit the most violence, and wind up with the most members arrested by far.  Yet the press has instead stubbornly, dishonestly depicted the more peaceful EDL (and the British National Party) as the violent ones.

Initially, the EDL did attract many rough-and-tumble rowdies from among the football club supporters of Luton, but the EDL of today is actually a much more sober, diverse, and earnest organization than the establishment would have us believe.

Robinson explains that all are welcome in the EDL, as long as they share the position that Muslims must peacefully assimilate to English culture (not the other way around) if Muslims are to remain in the UK.  In fact, there are Jewish and Muslim divisions of the EDL (Robinson points out that Muslims themselves are the most victimized by Islam), along with youth and women’s divisions, and even Pakistani Christians and LGBT members have their own divisions.

What I learned recently gives me hope that Robinson has a real future in British politics (he has already served as a vice chairman of the British Freedom Party, but resigned to concentrate on building the EDL).

Watching an extremely compelling new interview of Robinson conducted immediately after the Woolwich murder, I was literally cheering aloud, to witness a leader so passionate yet so measured, articulate, and intelligent in his direct answers to the journalist’s questions.

I urge everyone to watch it on YouTube; it’s easily found by searching under “Tommy Robinson Woolwich interview.”

Immediately after that interview hit the internet, countless people began Tweeting to Robinson, exclaiming that he’d won them over to his side, that everything they thought they knew about the EDL was wrong, was just misinformation, and that he now has their support.

Tell me if you think men like Tommy Robinson can actually save their country, and the West.  Whether that will happen is gravely in doubt, especially seeing as a recent study showed that nearly a quarter of Marxist-brainwashed Britons nowadays actually think Winston Churchill was merely a fictional character.
