Clash Poll: Is The Anti-Trump Book ‘Fire & Fury’ 100%, 75% Or 50% Bulls**t?

Just like in the Reagan or Dubya days, Trump’s somehow both an evil mastermind and a blithering idiot… to hear the media tell it.

Not much has changed in the last few decades.

The tabloid guy — Michael Wolff — whose ‘blockbuster’ book release has caused the political firestorm in DC is enjoying all sorts of notoriety.

In a previous column, we’ve pointed out some obvious lies from that book that thirty seconds on Google could have discredited … as well as some serious problems the author has run into from previous books and columns he’s written, including ‘quotes’ from people he hasn’t seen in 30 years.

So ‘Journalistic Integrity’ obviously isn’t Wolff’s strong suit. But that doesn’t stop the press from going ga-ga over what he’s saying.

Of course, Doug has a take on the left’s obsession with Wolff’s book:

Here are some ‘news’ headlines reacting to the book:

‘They all say he is like a child!’ Author of bombshell book says 100 percent of the people around Trump question his intelligence and fitness for office, calling him a ‘moron’ and an ‘idiot’ (DailyMail)

One hundred percent? If even one person disagrees with that, it’s 100% a lie. His kids agree? His wife? EACH and EVERY ONE of his advisors? Even Dr. Carson, who was a fairly early supporter once he had been knocked out of contention?

CNN’s Chris Chilliza wrote this commentary: The 10 big questions about Trumpworld raised by ‘Fire and Fury’

Maybe Chris Cillizza shouldn’t be so quick to piggyback on a discredited journalist, and start asking ‘big questions’ about ‘Trumpworld’ based on it — because other news outlets have been asking questions about him. Like when the Washington Examiner wrote this:

People from CNN bristle when called “fake news.” It’s hard to feel sorry for them, however, when they continually peddle nonsense and do it so brazenly. Chris Cillizza makes it easy for CNN’s critics. He views politics through a lens of nothing but optics. It’s never about policy or ideas but how Cillizza thinks something will play out in opinion polls. As such, his work tends to be sloppy, as it was when he wrote about the gun control debate.

More recently, Cillizza published a blatantly dishonest piece meant to defend his colleague, Wolf Blitzer, and to throw shade at Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., over the GOP tax bill.

And then we have Trump’s own statements about any ‘access’ the author had to him:

Is our President ‘Machiavelli reborn’? Is he some kind of a senile old fool? Or are the early peeks at his book ‘tripping your meter’? This meter:

What are ‘the Deplorables’ supposed to make of this ‘bombshell’ book by a discredited political hack?

Maybe this is the better question:

Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass.

Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.
You’ll love My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will.

Ladies, tell everyone that you don’t like the emasculated, metro-sexual ‘feminists’ — you’d rather have a President with balls:

And gents, let everyone know that you want your President to be just as much of a man as you are:

Donald J. Trump is our 45th President. Why? Because Americans from all races and classes are sick of whining Republicans and corrupt Democrats. Finally, we have a President who isn’t afraid to say what he thinks even if it is not popular with the press. Trump is not a typical politician. Trump can’t be bought. He will back up what he says with action, no matter the cost. Finally. A president with balls!
