It was a day of utter joy for Israel, and a bloody day of rage for the other guys.
On the 70th anniversary of Israel’s Independence, the American Embassy was officially opened in Jerusalem.
It was a landmark moment for Israel’s Eternal City.
It was a first step toward the world acknowledging the City of David as their actual national capital.
Sixty-nine years after Israel declared Jerusalem as its capital, and 23 years after the US Congress passed a law mandating that Washington move its embassy there, the US formally opened its embassy in the city on Monday afternoon, in a move Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called “courageous” and “momentous.”
“What a glorious day. Remember this moment!” Netanyahu entreated the applauding crowd. “President Trump, by recognizing history, you have made history. All of us are deeply moved. All of us are deeply grateful.”

But that moment served as a backdrop for yet another spike in violence in Gaza.
A 14-year-old was among 52 shot dead along the Gaza border on what is already the deadliest single day in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since a 2014 war between the Jewish state and Gaza’s Islamist rulers Hamas.
At least 2,400 more have been injured with hundreds of them by live bullets, according to Gaza officials as the Palestinian government accused Israel of committing a ‘terrible massacre’ and Amnesty International called the bloodshed an ‘abhorrent violation’ of human rights.

And WHY are they using live rounds?
Because you have a murderous mob intent on breaching the border and spilling into Israel.
These are the same people who tie torches to kites, hoping they will land in Jewish residential areas and start fires. Here’s one with a Swastika and a petroleum bomb. Charming neighbors.
What did Bibi say about today’s violence?
"Every country has an obligation to defend its borders. Hamas terrorist organization declares it intends to destroy Israel & sends thousands to breach the border fence in order to achieve this. We will continue to act with determination to protect our sovereignty & citizens." https://t.co/JA3VjvvIjv

The divide between right and left on this issue is neatly summed up by this pair of tweets:

Slaughtered is an interesting choice of words. Maybe he should do a web search for ‘knife attack, Israel’. He might be surprised to see the word ‘daily’ come up there.
Q: Why would terrorists send innocent young children to a militarized border that they aren’t allowed to cross?
A: So that they can emotionally manipulate the world and extort rich white men like @ShaunKing. https://t.co/JAwhGJFqMz— Candace Owens (@RealCandaceO) May 14, 2018
How do you think it would fare if that same crowd tried to storm a US Embassy? Would there be polite requests to stand down?
Here’s a shirt for real men (and women, too):
Why be average? It’s so overrated.
Everyone does that.
If you don’t think so, add some more meat to your diet and read this while you wait for your steak to grill:

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.
