AOC’s reaction reveals that the account is really getting under her skin.
On Tuesday, AOC warned her followers that there was a “fake” account on Twitter impersonating her despite it being very clearly labeled as parody.
FYI there’s a fake account on here impersonating me and going viral. The Twitter CEO has engaged it, boosting visibility.
It is releasing false policy statements and gaining spread.
I am assessing with my team how to move forward. In the meantime, be careful of what you see.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) May 30, 2023
This was pointed out to her several times.
Also — on Twitter 2.0 government officials have grey checks which clearly are different from blue checks.

Besides, it doesn’t even have pronouns in the bio. That’s a dead giveaway that it’s not the real AOC.
AOC seems to have gotten upset after Elon Musk interacted with the parody account on Sunday.
🔥

Could it be the green-eyed monster rearing its ugly head? After all, AOC and Elon have a special sort of relationship.
Elon Musk and AOC finally worked out their differences.
The chemistry these two have is crazy. pic.twitter.com/4dYzYAinqa

Ok, so that’s a joke, but it’s not all that far fetched, is it?
The @AOCpress account now boasts over 300k followers.
The AOC Parody jumped on AOC’s reaction.
I can’t believe someone would do that to us. https://t.co/8fHiPFgHIv

But just as amazing was the reaction of the AOC parody account itself.
I’m still not going to date you.

After brainstorming with my staff – I’m going to push Congress to make it illegal to joke, laugh, or make fun of me.
Parody should be illegal.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody) (@AOCpress) May 30, 2023
FYI …
I have no problem with parody accounts – just the ones that make fun of me.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody) (@AOCpress) May 30, 2023
If @elonmusk wants to have a chance with me, he’ll immediately ban the parody account of me.
This is like literally not funny.

I still won't date you @AOC

I can't believe people would think these parody tweets are from our office when they are clearly fake.
Come on y'all you know I would never say something as stupid as that.

I’m having my staff report every single tweet that makes fun of me to the DOJ.

Today feels like Jan 6 all over again.

I’m calling on @elonmusk to permanently suspend the @AOCpress parody account.
Making fun of someone as important as me should never be allowed in a free society.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody) (@AOCpress) May 31, 2023
The account lost its blue verified badge on Tuesday, but it was restored within a few hours.
Great News:
I personally called Twitter headquarters and told them I was going to hold my breath until my face turned blue – and they instantly removed the blue check from that racist, white supremacist parody AOC account.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody) (@AOCpress) May 30, 2023
Why is AOC so upset? It’s a clearly labeled parody account that talks about cow farts a fair amount.
If cows would just stop farting – I wouldn't have to drink so much wine every night.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody) (@AOCpress) May 30, 2023
If you could milk a cow and get fat-free, organic almond milk, I wouldn’t complain about their farts so much.
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Press Release (parody) (@AOCpress) May 31, 2023
But she still had to warn her followers to not fall for obvious parody. Gee, why could that be?
Is it because her followers are just that dumb or is it because there’s a very thin line between reality and parody these days?
Maybe it’s a little from column A and a little from column B.
Check out a few banger tweets from the parody account:
I went to the beach this morning and the water was really low. I went back this evening and the water was really high.
This is 100% proof that global warming is real.

An AR-15 can shoot over 10,000 rounds per second and hold up to 1,000 round clips.
It’s time to ban these weapons of war – except for in Ukraine.

Feeling cute, might go to the southern border for another photo shoot.

Now you see why AOC was so upset — the parody AOC account is just so spot on.
The new AOC parody account really does understand how her mind works. pic.twitter.com/9tOQYAkIdk

AOC is really worried that people won’t be able to tell the difference between this parody account and her own tweets. I find that very funny! https://t.co/ArXa6h13sF

You didn’t expect the real AOC to win, did you?
Psalms of War: Prayers That Literally Kick Ass is a collection, from the book of Psalms, regarding how David rolled in prayer. I bet you haven’t heard these read, prayed, or sung in church against our formidable enemies — and therein lies the Church’s problem. We’re not using the spiritual weapons God gave us to waylay the powers of darkness. It might be time to dust them off and offer ‘em up if you’re truly concerned about the state of Christ’s Church and of our nation.
Also included in this book, Psalms of War, are reproductions of the author’s original art from his Biblical Badass Series of oil paintings.
This is a great gift for the prayer warriors. Real. Raw. Relevant.
