BREAKING: Epstein’s ‘Madam’ Ghislaine Maxwell Has Been Arrested By The FBI–Faces Child Sex Trafficking Charges

It’s about freaking time.

The longtime associate and former girlfriend of accused sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, 58, has finally been arrested in the small town of Bradford, New Hampshire on Thursday morning at around 8:30 am.

Many believed that she had fled the country, but apparently not. She was captured about 5 hours away from New York City.

She faces 4 federal charges relating to criminal sexual activity with minors and 2 charges of perjury. Maxwell will be prosecuted by the Southern District of New York, the same jurisdiction that brought charges against Jeffrey Epstein. She will also be held in the same jail where Epstein was found dead.

Maxwell was captured 4 days before the 1 year anniversary of Epstein’s arrest.

The federal charges that Maxwell faces are as follows:

Count 1: Conspiracy to Entice Minors to Travel to Engage in Illegal Sex Acts

Count 2: Enticement of a Minor to Travel to Engage in Illegal Sex Acts

Count 3: Conspiracy to Transport Minors with Intent to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity

Count 4: Transportation of a Minor with Intent to Engage in Criminal Sexual Activity

Count 5: Perjury

Count 6: Perjury

The indictment accuses Maxwell of luring the girls by asking them about their lives, schools and families and taking them shopping or to movies.

After winning the girls’ trust, the indictment alleges she would try to “normalize sexual abuse” by discussing sexual topics or by undressing in front of the victims or being present when a victim was undressed.

The indictment alleges that Maxwell was well-aware of Epstein’s preference for minor girls and that he intended to sexually abuse them. Epstein’s alleged abuse included touching their genitals, placing sex toys on their genitals and having the girls touch Epstein while he masturbated.

Maxwell also encouraged the young girls to massage Epstein, and in some cases, the victims were partially or fully nude during the massages.

Prosecutors allege that between 1994 and 1997 Maxwell helped to “recruit, groom, and coerce” underage and young women to have sex with Epstein. The victims were as young as 14 years old, and in some cases, Maxwell participated in the sexual abuse of the girls. The charges are based on accusations by three women who claim to have been abused by Epstein, all of whom were under the age of 18 at the time of the abuse–one was just 14 years old.
The abuse is alleged to have occurred at Epstein’s New York mansion, his estate in Palm Beach, Florida, his ranch in New Mexico, and Maxwell’s home in London, England.
When Epstein was charged in Florida years ago, Maxwell had denied knowledge of any sexual activity with minors. In 2009, several young women came forward alleging Maxwell was complicit and even participated in the abuse.
Maxwell is expected to appear in a federal court in New Hampshire on Thursday to discuss her bail or continued detention.
